Woke up to this this morning. They called for 3-7”, we for 14”. Text the manager asking what the status for today was, delayed opening. Okay, whatever. Kinda miffed but I missed work the last two days so I’ll go in.

Fiancé comes out of the shower and is making breakfast as I’m getting our son up for the morning. Mention the store still being open but not knowing if I can even clear my car out because I have to get our son ready to go. I get met with “well just tell them you won’t be in.” Like, really dude? I just missed two days and you’re the one complaining about not having enough money and asking me to cover things when you have twice as much in the bank as me. (We both have a comma in our accounts, so we’re fine.)
After I watch him drive away after clearing out his car, I message him asking if that’s what his dad would’ve done to his mom. About an hour later (when he should be almost an hour into his shift) I get a call from him saying my car was free. I didn’t ask how or why because I was still fuming. I’m still not happy. I have our Facebook chat muted and I’m talking to him when I get home from work.
I’m just so damn tired of how self-centered he is in the morning. Ever since he went back to work he thinks his morning schedule can go back to exactly how it was before we had a baby. It was hard before I returned to work but I managed since I was home. Now it’s miserable every morning since I went back. I never eat breakfast, I rarely get to make coffee to take with me, I’m lucky if I manage to make myself lunch. I get that moms do a bulk of the work at home but seriously. 😩 He’s great most of the time but mornings are absolutely miserable.
