I’m seriously scarred for life! Breastfeeding right after giving birth was by faarrrrr more torture for me than giving birth. I remember the biggest tears running down my eyes as my daughter fed. The cramp pain was just sooo unreal. And I refused to take any pain killers, because I didn’t want my newborn exposed to anything even if it was “categorized as safe”
If I have another baby that’s the only thing I’m not looking forward too.

Bahaha I took the percocets they gave me after I had both kids...every 4 hours. And ibuprofen every 6. They helped with the cramping..

I had 2 c-sections so I took the pain meds for about a week or so, but it was still painful to nurse. The uterus cramping as well as the nipple pain, but honestly it was all worth it to me. It’s a situation where you put mind over matter and just push thru the pain. I breastfed my daughter til 2.5 years old and currently still breastfeeding my son for 10.5 months and going. The pain is so short lived, I don’t even remember it anymore.

Oh mama just get the medication. Millions of babies are born to mothers on pain medication and it is safe. I think your real fear is this!

Oh man I forgot about the cramps while breastfeeding 😩😩😩 it’s all coming back to me now 😭
