This 100%! A small child should never be unsupervised on the internet regardless of parental control settings. The most shocking thing about this whole Momo thing is the amount of ladies on this app who just hand over a tablet and apparently don’t supervise their child’s use.

I don't disagree, but also realize that something could pop up when you're sitting there with your kid. It's not always that you're letting the tablet babysit your kid.
Dd loves blippi, and when I need a minute I let her watch it on the tv. I'm in the room with her and can see exactly what is on, as well as have control over what she's watching. But if this momo thing were real, what's stopping it from popping up while I'm sitting right there with her?
The majority of us moms play with our kids all day, sometimes I just want a quiet moment so I can get some down time or get some things done uninterrupted. Blippi is the only thing to hold her attention currently 🤷♀️

there you go. We have her own Netflix channel thing that has all the parental controls on it. YouTube is not a necessity, but we currently use it with dd because it's the only thing blippi is on

This I appreciate ! That’s how it should be 💕💕💕👏 WiFi was never necessary for them to watch kids shows ! I mean when they’re older pre teen or teen then yea some get cellphones by then but kids should be kids ❤️🌈

i do let them watch YouTube on my TV. We watch the same videos we have for the last 2 years. Berenstain Bears and super simple songs. I will walk away for a min doing other things but my 4 yo tells me when anything pops on. Even when a commercial pops up she goes “oh no!”

I work from home and am a single mom. Whilst my daughter has a babysitter and actively plays, colors and reads all day. While I cook depending what it is she gets a bowl with some water and sugar and flour and mixes and pretends she is cooking. There are times however, in particular when the babysitter is gone for the day, I'm trying to cook, clean and finish tying up loose ends for the day that I let her have the tablet for the highly restricted content I allow her. I am looking at it every few minutes, she is in the room with me and never let her alone with it. All that being said my allowing her the tablet in no way shape or form means I dont play with my child or that she spends all day watching her tablet. These type of statements are meant to incite negativity not promote discussion.
