Has anyone ever had a subchorionic hemorrhage during pregnancy?
I went to the ER not yesterday but last Friday for bleeding. I was 6 weeks at the time. the ER found the heartbeat and things are good. I went in earlier this week and they found the heartbeat again and it’s measuring on track so they said not to worry. Everything is good so far.
Ok that really helps Im 6 weeks and when I went to the ER last night they showed me the heartbeat and saod everything looks find besides the hemorrhage. But you know just seeing blood is scary.
@mommyofacabrera, definitely scary! I had never experienced it before. Hopefully everything will work out for both of us. 😁
I had one with my last 2 pregnancies. What do you want to know?
@mommyofacabrera, yes it dissolved on its own! But i def took it easy, didn’t lift anything heavy and didn’t have sex until it was gone - confirmed via ultrasound.
@mommyofacabrera, my second child it was just pink spotting for a week then one morning about a tablespoon of bright red blood came out. Nothing after that. My last pregnancy I spotted pink for about a month. No big bleeds. From what I’ve been told and read, it depends on the size and location. Essentially the placenta tears away from the uterine wall creating a hematoma. If the tear is big enough or in a bad spot, that can hinder blood flow to the placenta (baby’s life source) thus ending in loss. Am I explaining this clearly enough? @beakymcspence,
Do you mean subchorionic hemorrhage? Because if so then yes.
