I hate when my husband side picks one person's event to reply to but when I ask who is coming to my son's birthday party I get nothing.. like it is so annoying..I sent out a group message asking for a head count, and posted on Facebook. I got nothing, see my brother in laws gf post about a baby shower they all responded... 🙄 they get mad if I don't bring my son around to let them see him. I try to plan his party in our home town and it's like I got slapped in the face.

@scx Girl for real, we planned his party a month out. I posted updates here and there. His gf liked every single post then told me today while they were messaging me that she didn't know that was his party.. but asked me for the location today 🙄 ugh I was so annoyed by them! Lol but it gets bad sometimes because my husband's side don't really treat me like family, but my side treats my husband like his apart of ours. I feel so uncomfortable around them sometimes. They wasn't like that when we started dating. It started after we had our first child and got married.
@lefurgeymom, no way that’s ridiculous! What does your husband say about this? Why don’t you make him in charge of asking his family to RSVP or something? That way he has to deal with all that nonsense and less stress for you.
I have no clue if my boyfriends mom likes me or not; but I don’t have time for her bullshit lol. Same with his grandma. My whole family is Mexican and I’m 100% Mexican, and she’s made a bunch of inappropriate comments and I’m always like “oh can you say it louder so everyone can hear it?” Or I say stuff like “careful, us Mexicans might take your job and do it better” and I just laugh cause if she can joke about race, why not throw it back? (Obviously ours are different situations but we shouldn’t have to put up with shit because other people are petty as hell lol)
@scx He has asked them as well they respond better to him, but I am his wife apart of the family they should show me the same respect... ya know? Oh girl that is terrible, my husband biological father and his that side are amazing and such wonderful people. They are Puerto rican and they make me feel right at home!! But my his adopted dads side is just plan out disrespectful.
BUT since I’m assuming everyone’s more mature than I am, can you text them individually? That way you know to expect them or not
Ugh me being petty af and i don’t deal with crap like this, I’d honestly just expect them not to come and if they ended up showing up, I’d be like “sorry you guys didn’t RSVP, there’s not enough food but once we’re all situated, we can figure something out” 😂

My husband has talked to them told them they needed to be more social with me but it don't work they pick and choose. @kristinachau21 I wouldn't invite but to be nice like I have been for the past 3 years of inviting them I figured I'd try one more time. I only got one reply out of 35 people. But she got about 15 in like 5 minutes of posting.. it gets so annoying because why fuss at me when we don't come around much but then when I plan his party at home you don't bother to reply they just expect me to know.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I find it pretty hilarious how people who have shown their true colors on social media snake away, delete the posts that outed them and come back on social media like nothing happened. Why do that, you outed yourself, so stay out. We still see you boo boo...
Not to mention today we had to get them to reschedule that baby shower because they planned for the same day, same time, and also asked for the same place we are having my sons party... I was so mad!
