I got my son the Amazon fire and it lasted over a year before he was finally able to crack it after all his roughness. He has his own account with a parental lock on it. He can't download anything or search for anything. Internet comes in for games and books that need it but he doesn't get a search bar or anything like that

You can get a kindle for $69 bro and they’re kid proof pretty much. And amazon has an amazing replacement warranty. Also it’s got a made for kid operating system
