Only when we go out to eat she gets some and most of the time, unless it’s boxed juice, she gets it water down
I dilute everything. He’s used to everything being watered down with a bit of flavor. I give him regular juice if he’s sick or constipated.
More than she needs... been trying to limit it and give her more water. But she drinks a lot of milk too. Sometimes we go a few days or so with no juice and some days she gets two sippies of juice.
Maybe 2 oz every few days, or twice a week. He loves water, so juice is only a treat. We do naked juice mixed with water
My son isn’t 2 yet, but he only gets juice when he’s constipated and it will stay that way for a long while. He doesn’t need juice, he only has milk or water, but mostly just water.
I gotta get my son on the ball with drinking mainly water. I just feel like he prefers juice so much, so when i offer water he doesnt drink as much and he gets dehydrated so i give in and give him juice
@lalalissy, That’s one of the reasons we don’t give him any sweet drinks really. My aunt’s children will only drink “green water” as her 3 year old told me, which is just juice. Maybe ask his doctor if you take away juice how long it would take for him to start accepting water only and if there is a certain amount of time you should go before giving in and giving juice for sake of hydration. Lol
Same here.. only when constipated or need to mix in some gross medicine lol. Not daily, not even weekly. Just milk and water
@lalalissy, that is what she had. Also the veggies pouches if I remember. She still drinks mainly water and milk unless we go out to eat and have juice.
@lalalissy, she used to have them as snacks when she was a tot. It was sort of liquid.
Yeah i heard the same but I feel like that's just what they recommend. I give it to my child whenever he wants juice
Both my kids get easily constipated no matter how I try switching up their diets. My son gets about 4-5 oz of apple juice a day, thats diluted heavily with water. Helps to keep him regular.
