34eeeks tomorrow any advice? What's some at home things I can do to induce labor? ❤😍
Advice: wait until you're 40 weeks to even think about induction.
Ways to induce: wait until your body is ready.
I had red rasberry leaf tea but that was to just strengthen uterus for when baby came. I walked alot and i think sex was what really did it for me. She came two days before her due date.
When you get closer, your OB will likely give you some safe suggestions along with the reminder that nothing will work unless baby is ready. Cute bump!
Staying as active now is the only thing I could suggest. Don't push yourself, but keep moving when possible. If and when you're ready it will make things go faster and help with labor. Good luck
I heard citrus as well like pineapples not sure how true it is
I absolutely hate when you ask a question now all of a sudden everyone is medical professionals anyway you do a lot of walking yoga get a yoga ball and bounce and stay active you should be fine good luck mama
When it’s time the only thing I can really suggest is everything you’ve probably already heard. Sex, walking, bouncing ball, spicy food, massages, yoga.
I haven't really heard anything I got induced at 35weeks for preeclamsia an they did everything medically to me an my sister was also induced plus emergency contact section so I don't have anyone really to ask about it but thank you!!
@bossmamax2, no worries! Also make sure you talk to your doctor they can probably give you some better suggestions. I never had to induce labor since both my babies came on their own at 36 weeks. But if you have a yoga ball that really helped my sister out. She bounced on it everyday for like 30 minutes and went into labor 4 days later so that might help you later on when it’s time.
Come back and ask this question again in 6 weeks, no point in asking this early you will likely just forget by the time your ready for any sort of induction talk. Even then if you need to be induced your doctor would do it.
Assisting yourself in moving along labour and inducing yourself are two completely different ball games one of which you just shouldn’t play ❤️ As a L&D nurse and premie mama you don’t need to self induce period. When your close to labour the normal things like walking, sex etc can help things along.
I didn't mean to start things now I wanted them to write them down look them up an such I have a 3 year old who was born at 35weeks I'd never try to induce myself at such an early stage with my second. I like to do research an look up YouTube videos of people actually trying the things I would be suggested an seeing if it worked for them also my notes is FULL of things I would copy an paste them I'm a planner lol
The best advice.... prep for baby to come by cleaning, organizing and buying stuff that the baby won’t necessarily need. As far as inducing?
At 34 weeks.... you are totally kidding. I know this bc babies aren’t full term until 39 weeks... and even then, they should bake until 40 weeks... so I know you are just kidding.
Rest up! After 6 weeks when your baby is here, you are gonna wish you did!

@bossmamax2, oh ok so yeah... don’t even think it. Best of luck!

Nothing until you’re over 38 weeks and maybe have a High BP and require medical intervention. It really is best to let nature run its course to the best of our ability. Best advice to give you now is to just “nest and rest”

@mychemicalshaymance a girl can't be curious? An research things? Have you ever heard of YouTube lol it's not a big deal when I'm not actually trying to induce my self this app didn't have much judgmental mean people in it I mean ask a question before assuming 👏🏻
@bossmamax2 if caring about your baby is being judgemental then I'll be judgemental as fuck. Idc. That knowledge isn't even necessary at 34w. Nor is there any way to to put your body into labor without forcing it
You asked, I gave my advice and opinion.
I didn't mean for right now 🤣 I have a 3 year old who was born at 35 weeks I definitely don't want an early labor. I know when it's safe to start trying for labor.
@bossmamax2, ohh ok. The way you posted it made it sound like you meant now. Personally I don’t think anything really works. I think babies come when they are ready
Nothing because your only 34 weeks.
