I need help. Advise if you will.
I just started a new job at home. I will be working on the phone and sometimes video chat. I have a 3 month old. I am not sure if I want to keep this job why because I feel like I am not present for my son. The whole reason why I left my other job after I had him was to take care of him for his first year. I wanted to get this job because I wanted to help my husband with the bills and save money for me but honestly don’t think I will actually be able to work and take care of him especially because he is going to grow up and need more attention. My question is should I keep this job?
I know there is but when I planned to get pregnant this wasn’t my vision I want to take care of him and love him idk why I let wanting money take that out of perspective
@emily.2341z Well only you can decide what's right for your family. If you can afford for you to stay home and that's what you want go for it.
I would see how the first week goes and if by Friday it seems to have gotten easier, try a second week. If it’s just too much to juggle than you can look into other ways to help contribute.
You could be a nanny and babysit while you watch your son. What’s one more baby and an extra $500 a week, right?
Or a part time job that only takes up four hours of the day like the phone service or Uber eats etc.
I mean it’s a good job but I don’t know how I am going to handle working and taking care of the baby.
Up to you. Lots of women work full time and are good moms
