Congratulations! This is so exciting! Doesn’t it feel real when you know the date? I can’t wait to find out mine, I’m 31w 3d and they want to deliver before 37 weeks and I still don’t have a date.

I got the letter in the mail letting me know mine. I was pretty excited. I now know when to have everything ready lol . I also didn't know that's how they do it. My first was an emergency. I thought about trying natural but the more research I've done the less I wanted too after I c section. Good luck mamma I hope all goes well.

I don't understand 1. Why they would schedule you to deliver before 40 weeks (all my baby books say the last few weeks inside are so important!) and 2. Why they would schedule a c section in a non emergent situation? Can someone explain this to me??

1. A scheduled c section means they take you a week before your due date. You're considered full term at 37 weeks. The few extra weeks the baby is inside you just help out with the baby too. 2. I've already had an emergency c section with my first, he was super distressed and was losing oxygen fast. 3. With having a prior c section there are more risks to having a natural birth after a c section and risk factors . 🤦♀️

I also wasn't trying to be in labor for over 39 plus hours again, being switched all kinds of ways having to have 2 epurdals because of them messing the first one up, I wasn't trying to puke my brains out again from them pumping me with the one meds to progress my labor because ibwasnt dilating fast enough. On top of trying to push for 3.5 hours and my son not fitting and him almost dying because his oxygen was going down as was mine. There's lots of reasons I just chose to have another c section. I've done research about all kinds of things. With c sections and natural birth and having a natural birth after a c section and all kinds of things. I just came to my decision 2 weeks ago and got a letter in the mail about them approving my request.

My 1st was an emergency at 40 wks. My 2nd and 3rd was taken at 38 wks.
