Potty trained toddlers are nice and everything but then I completely forgot about the public bathroom situation..🙄 looking on Amazon to see what gadgets they have for little ones to go to the bathroom on public toilets. I really don't want to haul a portable toilet seat either

I find the best thing for us has been keeping disinfecting wipes in my purse. Wipe the seat down and sit my daughter on side ways instead of front facing.

This is what I’m terrified of with my daughter. Boys are so much easier, he just had to stand and I told him not to touch anything. So many germs in public bathrooms 🤢

I have a little seat the folds up ( I keep in back pack ), and you just sitting on the toilet seat and it has handles as well.
I also have a little elephant pee cup they make them for boys and girls on amazon

I’m sooooo freaked out by public bathrooms & toilets. I will beg my kids to hold it till we get home if we’re not gonna be long because I dread taking them in there. & it seems they have an obsession with public bathrooms because no matter how much we make sure we went before we left & we haven’t had tons to drink, they ALWAYS have to go. They love doing it at places like Walmart especially like they can just sense how grossed out I get lol. So I’m following this because I’d love to find out something to do as well! Something more than wiping down & lining it with toilet paper because that still never feels like enough for me lol.

@miss_understood, lol you know?! Soon as they bring it up I try changing the subject & making them think of other things but it literally never works. They will keep telling me how bad they have to go. Meanwhile, it’s never that bad once we get in there. We went to dinner the other night & I tried telling them the power was out in the bathroom so they would have to pee in the dark because I knew if it wasn’t bad they would not wanna go but it only held them off for maybe ten minutes & then she was like can we just use your phone for a light😂 I was like okay it’s the real deal she needs to go so let’s go lol. Then I told her they came back so we don’t need my phone lmaooo. I just wish they were big enough to hover over the seat like I do so they didn’t have to touch them. I cringe the moment they sit down.

Wiping them down is all nice and good until you have the usual situation where the kid tells you they have to pee/poop NOW!!!!! Hahaha. I bought oversized paper covers on amazon since they like to hold the sides at first.
