I honestly don’t know how much more I can’t handle y’all. The flu hit our house HARD, went through 3 out of 5 kids and hubs got it really bad, he went to dr for it and they gave him a note to stay home 2 days and was put on antibiotics/steroids..come today he went in to work gave them his dr note (he called and told them before not going to work those 2 days obviously and all was good) so then he walks in the house 4 hours early tonight and I’m like why are you home? They fired him. Said the dr note didn’t matter and that he was being terminated for missing 2 days. We’ve been struggling so hard these last few months and we were finally getting things caught up or trying at least. Now we’re back to square one and idk how to even handle this rn. I have been fighting horrible anxiety for the last few months alone with depression and was actually put on anxiety meds. Now this. I just can’t. I feel like I’m drowning. I can’t keep my head above water.

Can he take it up with HR? Or someone higher up? Cause that’s so messed up especially since he gave them a heads up. I’m really sorry 😔 I’ve been there before, my bf got fired two days before I had to be induced >_< keep your head up, it gets better I promise. Just relax and pray 💞

Hr is who let him go so idk place is a joke. There’s people who are late every single day and haven’t gotten in trouble 🤷🏻♀️

@kandaceteresa, Sorry to hear your family is going thru that#1 your pregnant excess stress is no good for you and the baby your carrying. The quickest way to get a job for him or yourself as well is go to a Temp agency they place you fast ! Or even many cities pay daily for day laborers until he finds something better.Many states even have a thing they can fire you for No reason ..Things will get better maybe that job In the long run was no good for your family

I know I’m trying to not stress but it’s impossible. I have to try to figure out the rest of my rent payment and phone, on top of that my sticker expires on our only car the 1st and as of now I don’t have enough to pay it so idk how we’re gonna get anywhere without being able to drive with expired registration. He’s calling temp places tomorrow so hopefully something comes through but now I have to figure out our car situation. I can’t win I swear

think positive,do you have a private landlord ? Speak with them maybe if you have a good rental payment history they can give you a few extra days. Call your local city helpline maybe you would qualify for rental assistance based on your situation

we have good rental history never missed a payment, I just feel like it would look horrible if I ask for an extension for part of it, I’ll look into help in our area I’m not too familiar with it

that’s a will to work state. That means they can fire you for any reason even with a doctors note. That shitty ordeal. I hope and will pray everything works out for you. He can however get unemployment if he meets the criteria.

Sorry you’re going through it too 😭 this is awful like I feel like we’re never going to catch up. I’m trying so hard to stay positive but it’s a serious struggle since I battle anxiety and depression on normal days let alone when everything this crashing down. Also dealing with my 11 month old who’s still getting over being sick and getting no sleep. Thanks 🖤
