Mom Just texted me.. My dog Cesar who's been living there opened the gate and ran away last night.. He's an old pitty with arthritis and I'm soo freaking sad.. It's been about 24 hours.. I've posted on missing pet.. Calling every single shelter in Raligh in the morning and hopefully he wanders back Home. 🙏🏾 😔

This happened to my aunt a lot of with a particular dog of hers. He always either wandered back or was found. I'm sure he'll be found just keep your chin up. I know you won't give up looking. My sister and I used to have a cat that like to go outside and she would disappear for a day or two no big deal she always came home. Then one day she was gone for three weeks and we were freaking out!! She eventually came back home. After that we never let her out of the house. I know cats are different cuz they stay inside. But just hang in there I'm sure everything will work out.

I would door knock the neighborhood too. My 2 dogs ran away years ago and a lady a few blocks over had them in her yard.

I agree with knocking door to door. I keep strays in my shed til I can see if they are chipped
