I’m a type 2 myself but my symptoms are in remission because I’ve lost weight. My biggest issue was pre dawn ketones so my fasting numbers were high. Lantus wasn’t preganancy approved back when I had my son so I was on levomir with humalog for high emergencies. My trick was my bedtime snack. High protein low to medium carb depending on my reading at bedtime snack and insulin. Under 130 medium carb, over 130 low carb. That way I woke up with decent fasting numbers.

Always call your endo if your numbers are out of whack more than 3-4 days while you’re pregnant as you may be adjusting your insulin weekly for a while. I found life easier mid pregnancy and harder towards the end.
