@flmom honestly? I have no idea cause a portable carseat is what I've always used cause the ones that stay in the car are much harder when you need to go to the store or doctors appointments unless you use a baby sling but that's alot to do with it being cold out (at least here were I I live) I do know our hospital wants to see the carseat and inspect it b4 leaving the postpartum room.
