Well I took everyone’s advice and already filed for the paternity to be established since brentleys dad is telling my husband that brentley isn’t his and that’s why he won’t respond to me about seeing him 🍼 he didn’t say he wasn’t his until we split up & no time lost can be made back , babies grow so fast and brentley is his first kid 💙
I’ll keep you all updated 🤞
Fighting for brentley to have his dad in his life & I won’t quit pushing until I know I’ve done everything to try 💙

@divinely_favored, it’s just a big old mess , Ohio laws are very weird because I even clarified with the hospital and so did my husband explaining brentley isn’t his and husband and I both said we didn’t want him put on the birth certificate and they told us even if he refuses to sign he will automatically be added due to us being legally married still

Couldn't you get an acknowledgement of paternity? It's basically releasing the husband from.obligation and acknowledgement that the husband knows he's not the father.

@divinely_favored, my lawyer told me I have to go through child support to get one because brentleys father won’t step up and say he knows he’s the father or we would be able to do something like that the hospital had a affidavit that brentleys biological father could have signed stating he new he’s the father but he won’t even respond to anything

Well once the paternity test is done establishing he is the dad maybe he will come around.
You don’t have to answer but did you get married after you got pregnant with Brentley?

I got married April 2015 so i was married before brentley and been in process of a divorce for over a year now but will be divorced in April also
