Just talked to the attorney general childs support division they told me since theres a case already open with childs support it wont be affected. Plus my mom had one against my brothers dad and she was still recieving childs support.
@3plus2is5, really.? My child support office told me if I got a no contact order against my daughters father child support would stop because they can’t make him pay for a child he’s not supposed to have any contact with.?
@sleepymommy for real? I had asked them about everything before i take actions. And they will provide supervised visits?
Go to court house and file. It’s possible they will give temporary one. You will have to have proof of the threats.
@3plus2is5, you can just show screenshots then. Child support shouldn’t stop either.
@massmomma16 no like through phone calls and barely texts when he gets mad he calls and starts the threats.
Go to the court house or your local police station and they will assist. You will automatically be granted one temporarily then it'll have to be proved in court that he is harrassing or a danger to you for it to be granted for 1-3 yrs.
And is that him threatening me my fiance and taking the kids away from me and not bringing them back? Last yr in june police were called on him because he beat me up but the cops said there was nothing they could do about it SO yeah. Hes threatened my fiance to go to his work and show up here that hes gonna beat him up because he cant lay his hands on me because im pregnant and so on.
@3plus2is5 yeah go get the temp one and when you go to the court date they'll give you, tell that to the judge. And make sure you write all if thag down when u go get the temp one
Go to court but IF you get child support from him or have a child support case open against him all that will be voided out and if your receiving money it will stop
