Don’t give up mama. I was the same way. Mine hurt like a mf until my baby was about 4-5 weeks old. It takes some adjusting.
thanks for the tip. I actually just started using coconut oil on my nipples today.
Make sure your checking the size of your flange (?). Mine always hurt when I was using a really small one, or even a big one.
The worst!! I highly recommend using the nipple cream! It definitely helps so they’re not so sore. Mine literally cracked & blistered up at one point, it was terrible. That cream was a life saver!!
Pumping shouldn’t hurt you nipples. Do you have the right size Falange? Your nipples shouldn’t be touching the sides.
@chasha2017, if it’s hurting I would stop until your pump comes. Do you know how long it’s going to take? the medela has different size falanges. Find out what size your currently using then go up a size. I have to use size 28 because the 26 is too small.
I'm not sure how long. My doctor ordered it for me a few days ago but I'll figure it out once it comes. & Stopping right now is not an option. My girls are still in the NICU and I have to pump milk for them because they're too small to latch.
I second the nipple cream, and if you have a lactation consultant at the hospital they can prescribe you a steroid nipple cream it’s seriously a lifesaver if your nipples have cracked
It used to make me feel sick at the thought of it and I’d be grinding my teeth for the first minute or so !!
Y'all..SMH.. I just can't... ???
Fake , fake , fake I'm reporting that ass to preggie . I already screenshot the evidence smh 🙄😒 why lie?
