When is it good to change my sons carseat? He’s 9months
@nerdymommyplus2, I thought so, thank you! I’m gonna go ahead and buy the new one.
@kartersmommyy, Yes! This is what I’m saying but someone told me that the Graco 3in1 wasn’t for infants.. his weight is definitely on there lol and he’s getting big
Are you referring to the Graco ways/transitions? If so it's not for babies until at least age 2. I'd recommend the extend to fit. If you can't afford it the cosco convertible seat will work just fine
@nerdymommyplus2
It hard to tell which seat you're referring too because Graco makes more than one (3in1)
One is rearfacing, forward facing then booster. The other is forwards facing, high back booster to backless booster.
You can change at any times but definitely before his head is less than 1 inch from the top (shell) of the infant carseat.
My youngest never had an infant seat, she came home in a convertible carseat. Just keep him rearfacing as long as possible until at least age 2
We changed our daughter when she was around 13 months. She’s on the smaller side so she was able to use her infant carseat for a bit longer. She is now in a convertible. It can rear face a child up to 50lbs. So we most likely will rear face her pass 2 years old.
