Ok ladies I need help, I have a clogged milk duct and a really huge lump In my boob is there any way I can get rid of it without having to go to the doctors it hurts really bad
@xryztalroze, a lot better I couldn’t even sleep in that side lol
Don’t over pump because it can just stimulate more milk and cause more pain. Try taking a hot shower and massage it out with your hands. See if you can find the clog and sort of pinch and scratch your nipple in that spot to loosen the clog. You can also get soy lecithin pills from a supplement store and take 2 of them 2x a day until it clears. That worked pretty quickly for me.
@katt82, that’s great! It’s literally the best feeling ever to have a fully drained boob!
@2sweetie, and I was actually feeding her so she is the one that unclogged it I felt it go down lol
@katt82 im gunna change that 5 minutes to 10 minutes
pump, pump, pump! pump for 5 minutes, massage your breasts, pump again for another 5 and massage again, keep pumping and massaging your breasts, it will help alot! i had a very bad clogged milk ducts, it took me a few hrs to completely empty my breasts @katt82
@katt82 i used the hand pump as well, i used it for 3 weeks until i stopped my milk production, i didnt have an electric one, if you feel like the electric one works better than go for it mama😊
I need to ask someone this have you literally regret having a child with someone. I love my daughter with all my heart but I really regret ever being with her dad.
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Took this lastnight...and I'm not sure how I should feel. I've made a terrible mistake by having sex so soon after having a baby but it has made such a precious thing. I really don't want to have an abortion but my Fiancé does. I understand why he wants to go that route but I just would feel absolutely terrible about doing that. I cried all night...I really don't know what to do. PLEASE NO JUDGING IM ONLY POSTING THIS FOR SUPPORT.
I really hate tampons. I know we need them, but I really really hate them.
Warm shower, warm compress and hand massage, from the top of breast going down along each side and especially where the clog is. Pumping just enough to give relief is ok, but pumping beyond that will only signal to you body that it's need to produce more and create a bigger problem. Getting your baby on there to nurse is truly the best way to help this! And don't be afraid to use ice after. Alternate. Warm to get milk flowing, cold to give relief between. Using frozen cabbage leaves can as ice packs helps. It's a some and effective way of bringing relief bc the cup the breast and are the perfect shape for fitting inside your bra. And no cabbage won't dry your milk. It is used during that process though for comfort but not an actual drying agent. Best wishes!
