What do you guys recommend for a baby that doesn’t burp much .. it’s so hard to burp my little one that sometimes I give up and sometimes she doesn’t burp for hrs and I think it really bothers her. 😪

So well explain 😅 it may not be in this order but this is exactly what I do. It’s just hard after trying for long periods of time and knowing she’s uncomfortable from it. Now sometimes when she burps and is still awake she like to be comforted like that and it doesn’t give me a break to have time with my other one 😪

Are you breastfeeding? Breastfed babies don’t seem to burp as much. My daughter rarely did.

Yes I am but I’m also pumping and giving her the milk from the bottle .. doc said she still needs to burp and I feel like she is gassy .. her belly feels bloated with gas. With my first I would tap her belly and know the difference when she had gas or not and same with this one but like I said it’s hard for her to burp

Have you tried burping her while sitting her up on your knee and lightly bouncing her?

I’ve tried so many different positions lol like with my first it usually took about 2 different positions but she would burp fast .. this little baby the one that works most is me holding her with her back to my stomach where my arm is slightly pressing on her belly a little while I walk if you understand.. but it’s still doesn’t work most times

Burping After a feed baby burps pretty good but once I put him down he'll cry because he needs to be burped more and sometimes(seems like most) it takes me 10-15mins and even after I set him down he'll be burping himself for a good while.
Opinions! I’m pregnant with my ex boyfriends third child it is our second together. Our daughter is 3, we split up a week before I found out I was pregnant. He doesn’t want to fix things. And I’ve been trying to sorta ask him to come home but found out some news that completely broke my heart. I sorta started to talk to someone that doesn’t live in my state but works around my area sometimes.. we spent some time together while he was here and he will be back in 3 weeks.. am I doing something wrong I feel weird I’m pregnant...
I breast feed and was told to start on one side then burp him then offer the other breast. Sometimes he doesn't burp he ends up burping later on on his own...is it bad if I can't get him to burp when I burp him?
Anyone else's baby not burp that much during or after a bottle? She does sometimes but I wind her for ages in different positions and very rarely hear her burp? Sometimes she has big burps a few hours later randomly?
I don't think she gets it. I swear sometimes I just need to renew my policy to not look at the comments in Facebook. I never used to. I don't know why I started. But the ignorance is real.

When my son was a little thing he was very hard to burp. I nursed him. I think they get gasy for a number of reasons. Yes, air via the bottle is one. But also remember that breast milk does not make them as gasy as formula does. Its easier on their little digestive system and such. So even tho you are using a bottle dont expect a lot of burping if she is consuming breast milk. But back to burping, i would just get my little one in different positions, patting until he burped. They do need to burp so dont stay in one position a super long time. Go from holding them with their chest against yours, their head on your shoulder. Pat pat pat. Work your way from their lower back to the top. This losens those pockets of gas around and gets them mobil. Then try with baby on your lap with their chest against the top of your legs. Their head at your knees. Then again pat pat pat. Working your way from bottom to top and throw in some gental pats on babies sides because gas gets stuck in their rib cage. But just continue this until you get a burp or two.
