So after having the epidural I ended up with a spinal fluid leak.. they did a blood patch Thursday that didn’t work and I have had such an excruciating headache since and the only way to make it feel better is to lay completely flat. It’s depressing because it makes it hard to take care of my own son when I’m in so much pain I could scream. I’ve tried everything it feels and can’t get into my doctor to have another blood patch done till Monday. Any other mamas go through something similar with the epidural and anything help you? 😢💔

Thank You! I went to the Er and they didn’t have an anesthesiologist available so gave me a migraine cocktail instead that didn’t work
I went to the ER and they did my second blood patch there. Is that an option for you?
I think that’s what I’m going to do. I can’t handle the pain and it’s depressing not being able to care for my son the way I should

But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less
Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though
What should i do i am very confused
Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec
Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights
after having two blood patches my back is so messed up. If anyone a thinkinf about getting an epidural iwould research it . it was the worst mistake of my life!
Birth Plan Rant
I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
I have nothing to prove to anyone so yes I will be getting the epidural I feel like as long as I deliver my daughter safely and she is healthy thats all that matters.
So I get cramping in my stomach, that goes to my butt which makes it feel very uncomfortable, I feel nauseous, and now that I wiped myself I had blood.
☹️☹️☹️ I went in for having blood come out yesterday, and they sent me back home, so not sure what to do anymore
Prayers for you mama. Thankfully I never had one and I wish more people were made aware of the dangers so they could avoid this scenario. I really really really hope you feel better fast!!!
