So my daughters nursery has reported me to social , because she's still in pull ups and it's classed as neglect as she should be wearing nickers by now ,

@happymoma2 My daughter was in nappy in nursery them told me to get them off her I just said she will do it in her time the nursery didn't need to call anyone that what nursery r getting pay for to look after ur little girl

@niaz2014 I know , the nursery my little one goes too think that there better than everyone else tbh and stick there noses up at young parents , which isn't fair tbh , but I'm gonna move her to a new nursery after half term xx

Yeh I'm to ,I really am a few other moms have left and won't be returning after half term and nor will i , as it really is dumb how there trying to dictate that my child is really to come out of pull ups , makes me angry as there's no need for it , xx

Not sure what planet they are on. We advice that our children should be in pants before they to move into our pre-school at 3yrs. But at 2.5yrs that's ridiculous. And even if they weren't in pants by 3yrs we wouldn't threaten social on the parents. There would need to be sufficient evidence we were concerned for the child's welfare for us to make that call. If they do call social they'd probably be laughed at. Well at least I hope their made aware what a waste of time their call is.

They really are on a different planet , they say that the policy is that by there 3rd birthday the child should be out of pulls ups and wearing pants , which I think is wrong as kids go at there own pace , they already know that my daughter wears nickers at home , but at nursery she has pull ups on but uses the toilet when needed , as she doesn't feel confident enough going to nursery without , but according to them , my daughter feels isolated because the rest of her class mates in her age group don't have pull ups on , and allegedly my child has said she doesn't want to wear pull up, which they are lying about , as it would save me lots more money if my little girl wasn't in pull ups so why would I force her , makes no sense , but yeh social will dismis it away as I'm sure they have real allegations to deal with xx

My boy has only just come out of pull ups hasn’t wore them through the day in ages but only just takes them away at night time and he’s nearly 4!
They go and tell you when they’re ready to! Kids are all different and have their own paces! Nursery should know that. That is not neglect by her wearing a pull up still! Xx

It really is dumb how the nursery is reacting , they say that they can't change the pull up or nappys due allergations ,but how are they gonna tell me that my little girl has to wear pants , they put in the letter that as dannyelle is almost 3 they would be expecting by now that she doesn't wear pull up to nursery as they are unable to change them , and that due to this that they have no other choice then to notify social services as this is emotional and abuse and neglect , I was like wtf , are they in about take the Mick to be honest xx

I know alot of 2 ,3 ,almost 4 year old still in nappys , and pull ups so I don't know why the nursery has such a big problem , they have never liked me , dannyelle has only been there since January and already they have reported 2 other moms who have told me , that one got in trouble for not putting fruit in her son's lunch box and the other mom got into trouble because she allowed her daughter to bring cake in for the other children and was a risk cuz incase nuts in the cake , even tho she had already asked all the parents if there little one has any allergies , so tbh I think the nursery just hate everyone tbh xx

Enit , like dannyelle is potty trained if she needs the toilet she will go , but the pull up is just incase she has accidents she's not even 3 yet , so I don't know why there reporting me , the nursery sent me a letter only just got it today saying what they were gonna do , and yeh social will just laugh at them cuz there being childish tbh , that nursery has never liked me xx

The teachers at Bethany's preschool asked if she was toilet trained yet when they came round for their home visit back in September. She turned 4 that week.
When a preschool is asking if a 4 year old is toilet trained yet, why is a nursery questioning why an under 3 wears a pull up?
