Any other mommas have military boyfriends/husbands? My boyfriend just left for a month and a half long training. This is the first time he's left for this long of a time period. He is coming home for 9 days then leaving for another training, coming home for 4 days, then leaving for a year deployment. I was just wondering how others handle these kind of situations.

My husband is now retired army infantry. Every training and deployment is hard and we didn’t even have kids yet. However I can say, surround yourself with friends and family, enlist all the help you can get. Care packages mean the world to our men and they keep us busy too. Create a countdown!

My husband is in the Air Force. He just came home from a year deployment back in November. In a couple of months he’s going to start flying which will mean he’ll be gone on and off for a while. My kids keep me pretty busy but it does get hard. Some days are better than others.

We just found out I'm pregnant so he'll be close to halfway into his deployment when the baby comes.

My husband was military before police officer. Skype wi save your life. Its your only life line to see him and the best thing I can do is forever be his back bone. Never let him kno how sad and lonely u are. Always stay positive and remind him how happy you are for him and to have him and just always let him see u smile no matter what! I kno keeping the front helped my husband make it thru. Even tho inside I was dying and cried all the time I never let him see me down snd it helped

My boyfriend is currently doing both. He's a police officer while he's home, then when duty calls he leaves. The longest I've been away from him is a weekend when he went to drill. I just didn't think it'd be this hard.

@ravenlemons it gets harder. Just put that smile on for him bc hes gunna worry about u more the you think so he sees u happy he can focus better and him and his team can do the best they can
Potty training diaries : Today was our full day of potty training - Asher has 0 accidents , made peepee in the toilet afew times and even pooped once ! So let’s just say it was a success today 🙌🏻 let’s hope the same for tomorrow and forever lol

Any of you ladies in your third trimester think it’s okay for your SO to just not come home.. from a day to a week at times .. barely answering anything.. and not for work.. ??? Happy kinda Mother’s Day to me huh 😒😐

Yep! Just stay busy and get yourself into a routine. That’s what helps me.
