I have the medela pump in style (at work) and the spectra S2 (at home) but I’m interested in getting something else to replace one of them. Can anyone recommend a better pump then the ones mentioned? I’m trying to make this pumping experience more successful than my first go round.

I have the freemie but hated the suction. I used the cups w my medela. I suggest using freemie cups only at work bc if you lean forward, you lose milk and it gets in tubing.😫

I would love to try the freemie but the reviews are so mixed. Plus I have huge tatas so I don’t know how comfortable the cups will be for me 😕

I had the spectra 2 which worked well for as little as I used it. Maybe look into renting a hospital grade one.

I feel like I can help here I have 8 lmao I like the medela sonata or lansinoh smart pump are my other faves if you think the medela pump in style is too much as in rough try the sonata or motif one of its not strong enough try lansinoh smart pump 😊

it’s very nice a little pricey but if you pump often or plan on having more kids or just want to splurge totally worth it 😊

I know this sounds so gross, but when I’m not home I’ll actually hand express myself... grosses my husband out how much comes out. I prefer to honestly. I get more of my milk out myself, my pump is uncomfortable and I just prefer to do things naturally when I can. I don’t feel like packing my pump with me and takes almost the same amount of time. Hand expressing takes a few minutes longer but still makes life easier for me.

I wish!!! I’ve tried hand expressing but I don’t make enough. I only get a couple of drops 😞 hence why I need a good pump.
