Talk to your Dr. Force yourself to get out of the house with baby. Have someone take the baby and let you sleep(this is key my postpartum always got out of control with lack of sleep) Find friends who will just be there for you. Remind yourself that you are the best thing for your baby and that by taking care of you, you are actually taking care of your baby. Do what you need to do for you. If you notice triggers and can identify them tell yourself that you were strong enough to notice them and that knowing your limits is powerful and it's okay to not do those things(ex:breastfeeding for me was a huge point of stress. When I realized it I tried to ignore it because I wanted to breastfeed and I couldn't let it go. It took me a long time to realize it was okay that I couldn't feed this baby because he needed a mom who was sane over breastfeeding)... Remember that many moms face this. You aren't alone and it has nothing to do with how awesome of a mom you are.
