Does anyone on here take the depo shot? I’m on it I only got it twice but ever since I started on it everytime my period comes it never goes away it’s driving me nuts and I’m gaining weight. I’m thinking about switching to another birth control but I don’t know which one. What do y’all suggest?

I’m on it , and I have gotten my period but only for two days . And I haven’t gain weight ? But everyone’s body is different .
I stopped getting my cycle by the third shot. If you are gaining weight I would get off because the people who experience that tend to keep gaining until they get off. Depo is really aggressive. It tricks your body into thinking you're already pregnant. And it can cause osteoporosis.
Depo shot sucks I was in the same position as you my period would last forever !!! And I got pregnant while I was on it lol ,,,, I got arm implant no complaints at all

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
I bled the entire time and lost a lot of weight. The mini pill made me bleed too. The combination pill gave me headaches and made me gain weight while intensifying my anxiety. We just switched to condoms instead.
