All you hair junkies out there lol this is my hair after another toner.. I don't really like it (only a little) lol so do y'all think blonde would stick to this or do I need my hair lighter!? 🤔 I'm no hair expert so any help is appreciated😅 @joeywiththegoodhair can't remember the other person who was giving me hair tips 🤦🏻
I believe it should stick. I've turned darker hair blonde before.
But it may not turn into the blonde you want due to the orange/bronze color it is atm.
Haha ok so in my unprofessional opinion (so anybody who knows better please correct me if I’m wrong)
But there’s still too much color to be toned out.
It’ll need another round of bleaching. If you think your hair can take it. Deep condition the shit out of it. Coconut oil mask it often. You’ll probably have to do several weeks of hair rehab and cut some ends.
Once you do another lift then if purple shampoo tone out the orange brassy color.

yeah if you do get it blond where you want it you gotta keep touching up roots.

It’s too orange blonde will not work u need ur hair to be at a level 9-10 ur hairs is like at. A 6-7 right now
Yeah you’ll for sure have to bleach again. I would wait a while and make sure your hair is healthy enough. If it feels weird after you shower kind of like elastic don’t bleach it again. Make sure you deep condition a lot!
I would say definitely another round of bleach beforehand. With how red your hair is looking in this I think you'll just end up with a nice strawberry blonde. (Which would look lovely on you) I'm assuming you're going for blonde blonde though. 😊
I never really use toners so I'm not sure how damaging they are to your hair. I would deep condition it and let it rest where it's at for a week and go back in with some bleach after a sally's trip! If it's still not close to where you want it, it may be worth just hitting a salon. Blonde is a process for sure 😂 i always end up giving up.
never use box bleach it's crap. only use salon bleach to get it blonde without your hair fallong out, only takes one application

@itsmely @caiticat. I used the bleach from Sally's but it turned my hair bronze looking.. That's the first time I've ever bleached it though
It turned your hair bronze because your hair has a certain amount of pigment. If you have dark brown hair it lifts from brown to red to orange to yellow to pale yellow to white.
I only use Aveda color which is only in salons. Unfortunately I’m not familiar with other brands. But you need to get your hair to yellow to get a decent blonde
