My son is 11 and he only sleeps with his (robot) toddler blanket since he was like 2-3 🤦🏼♀️
My daughter is 2 and she carries her blanket everywhere with her

Yes! My toddler will freak out if she doesn’t have it! I treat it like another child when it’s lost! I panic to find it quickly loll

Both my girls have “blankies” as they call them . My first has two, came from my baby shower & shes had them since day one . My second I’m not even sure where hers came from but it’s her thing she has to have lol . They don’t take them everywhere with them anymore they just have them at bedtime at home . They don’t leave our house or their room now . But they used to carry them around everywhere . My oldest used to suck on the corners of her blankets to where they needed washed daily because they would stink & it was gross because she would drag it around & then wanna suck on it so I had to wash em daily . Sometimes more than once lol . Luckily we broke that habit !

I can’t wait to break the habit. My daughter rubs the blanket all over her face and walk around with it everywhere. I don’t let her take it out the house though but once we’re back inside that’s the first thing she grabs especially during bedtime

@gianasmom, trust me I hear you ! I hated it . But it will break . Does she have anyone she’s close with like an aunt or grandma ? It helped us by letting them go spend the weekends at their aunts without the blanket . They were in a while different setting & had forgotten about them so they just cuddled with any blanket there & were okay after a while . Now they just have them in their beds but they don’t leave the bed & they honestly cover with it sometimes lol . They just like having them there which I don’t mind . I been thinking about getting them made into little teddy bears so they can just have them like that .

Pinterest has so many ideas to break that habit sew it into a teddy bear or make a pillow for the bed

@gianasmom, omg that reminded me of this one night that my husband and I thought we lost his blanket. We were living with my in laws back then and we had all of them all helping us look for it until my sister called me saying we left his blanket at her house 🤦🏽♀️ it was a nightmare..

Yup my son.. He has this specific blanklet that he needs with him to sleep lay on the couch sit down in the car with him.. Basically ill be lucky of he even lets me wash it without throwing a fit. He refuses any other blanklet
