So after losing 2 babies previously I'm having mass amounts of anxiety about this one. And even though so far everything has been okay babywise I'm still consistently anxious about it. I stared at my bump for about an hour last night just waiting for him/her to do something or even move slightly. Everyone's telling me to chill out and calm down and it just feels like they want me to all shut up and stop bothering them. Getting really down about it.

I totally understand I lost a baby at 16 weeks and was an absolute mess with my pregnancy afterwards. I’m not so bad this time round because I’m refusing to think “what if” constantly. I’m still so early so it’s totally out of my control. You will be absolutely fine and when baby arrives you’ll just be overwhelmed with love 🥰❤️xxxx

Thanks ladies :) I'm sorry to hear so many people have been through the same. It's difficult, I feel like a right pain in the arse because everyone's just exasperated with me worrying all the time. I'm 17 weeks so a fair bit further than I got before, trying to enjoy it as much as possible but so far paired with my Diabetes and other problems I'm not having a nice time! 😣 Just feel like I'm constantly whining (sorry m'lovelies). Thanks for all your encouraging words it means a lot rather than people just changing the subject and making my concerns feel menial.

I know exactly how you feel. I lost my first at 26wks she was born alive but because she was so premature she was really poorly and passed away aged 4wks old. Then I had my 9yr old. After her I had 2 miscarriages at 8wk and a missed miscarriage at 13wks.

This last pregnancy I was constantly worried taking repeated pregnancy tests. Then i went on to having a few private scans just so I could check all was ok!

Luckily after midwife started checking for heartbeat at all my appts Then after 24wks I was high risk and having scans every 3wks!

Mention to your midwife you may get some extra scans. It does get easier when you start to feel them and see them moving around. That bit where you can't feel or see is pure hell

I wouldn't recommend foetal doppler. It will cause more worry.

Most midwifes will not check for heartbeat until 16/20wks due to the panic it can cause when they can't find the heartbeat. Also you normally cannot find babys heartbeat until after 14/16wks and its easy to pick your own heartbeat/placenta noise up if you don't know what you are doing.

I have the same situation, lost two pregnancies last year... so now I try to be calm, got myself a fetal pocket doppler to listen to heartbit at home, maybe you should get one too? you will hear the heart of your baby and relax

I’ve had a couple of miscarriages and I lost my daughter last year. I was the exact same as you. I worried all the time and every little thing scared me! I was terrified of going into early labour again! You have every right to feel how you’re feeling. Don’t let anyone tell you any different. It’s so much easier said than done but do try and relax as much as possible and try to enjoy your pregnancy! I wish I had enjoyed my last pregnancy with my son a little more instead of worrying 24/7! xx

It literally just hit me that I'm due so soon, I'm so scared now thinking about how much pain I'm going to be in. 😳

I've never been able to easily swallow pills of any size so whenever I take these big ass prenatal vitamins I literally feel like I'm about choke too death or something and it takes me about 10 minutes to even get it down my throat. 😒
