Seriously..my fiancé grandma doesn’t listen... I’m making my daughter dinner.. she comes over n right away starts trying to give my daughter candy n pudding and yogurt and I told her no don’t give her anything she has to eat dinner...this lady looks at me and proceeds to give it to her anyway. So I said helllooooo did u not hear me I said no. Don’t give my daughter stuff without asking me and I took it from my daughter. Yes she started to cry but she has to eat dinner first! She got over it in seconds but this lady said to my fiancé I bought it for her why can’t she have it. Like she don’t see an issue. It’s not that she bought it, it’s the fact I just made dinner and she has to eat her food first.. then she walks into my bedroom and comes to me listen u have a candle burning the smell of candles is not good for the kids..wtf??!!?? I swear between my MIL and now my GMIL I’m about to be locked up for murder. And this lazy ass don’t stick up for me. I am their mother I don’t appreciate his family undermining me as a mother. I need a drink!! Ugh!!
Ughh that would have pissed me off too... The candle is in my room not where kids are. I have never heard of that and I grew up with candles my mom makes them and we have covers on them when they are put out..
Yeah I'm on your side with this one, I had to check my hubby for.not speaking up
My baby daddies family is kinda the same way and he finally stood up to his mom when out oldest daughter refused to eat her food and got sick from eating junk and not dinner so I know the feeling hun just hang in there and things should get better soon
I think your husband or SO needs to speak up.
Why he so lazay?
Cause we live with them but soo what we pay bills we pay for our own stuff take care of our kids.. but behind their backs he will rant about them.. shit grow a set and complain to them.. idc I stick up for myself
@joannekk88, it is always tough when you live under other’s roof. There is always that conflict.
Hopefully you guys can have your own home so that there is less intrusions. You have the right to voice your opinion. They may be treating you both like children and for sure, undermining as well.
@icebergahead, that’s only reason we are here to save for our own home..
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
FTM problems...
So I've made it pretty clear that I want to buy my daughter her fist Halloween costume. Her babysitter/nanny keeps saying she wanted to make her one. I told her yesterday that I wanted to find her something that my SO and I could dress up as a family. So I told her I am going to get it. She just text me and said 'not trying to step on your toes but I bought her two costumes'. She does this all the time. Anytime I want to do the "first" things with her she immediately does it. It...

I hate when my MIL does that nonsense. One time I was making sandwiches and my daughter loves sliced cheese so I gave her a slice to eat while I finished the sandwiches. Well she started crying cause she wanted more and here comes my mil asking why she was crying. I told her why and she’s like oh just give her another piece. I said no because she’s about to eat another slice in her sandwich anyway. I was reaching for the cheese and she snatched it before I could get it and gives her a damn slice! I was furious 🤬 and btw she’s right about the candles. The soot from the wick can get trapped in their nostrils.
