This was opposite for me. I carried my daughter really low and my son was high.
No it’s definitely bull crap because my belly is real wide and I carry real high with both my boys. I honestly hate old wives tales because I’ve had people (men and women both) ask me to stand up just so they could look at my butt to see if I was having a boy or a girl and they always say girl because apparently your butt gets big if you’re having a girl 🙄 I even had one woman who I never even met before lift up my shirt and touch my butt I find it very inappropriate to ask someone to stand up just so you can stare at their butt pregnant or not and it also makes me feel extremely uncomfortable, I think people nowadays see a pregnant woman and automatically think that our body is no longer ours so they feel that they can just walk up, and stare at us inappropriately, and touch our bellies, and do whatever they please which is extremely rude, and annoying. Sorry to go on that little venting rant but it’s just aggravating that people think they have the right to see/touch my belly or touch/look at my butt just because I’m pregnant and want to test the old wives tales on me.
I wish someone would do that crap to me in public or touch my butt just to test a theory i would go crazy on them.. I dont even like hubby's family touching my stomach in all my pregnancies just felt weird to me.. My family knows that i feel uncomfortable when my belly gets touch and the respect my feelings and dont touch my belly except my grandmother she is a whole other story
@mommycusses, The crazy thing is I was 23 weeks and I’ve found out the gender of my both my son’s at 18 and 20 weeks so I already knew the gender so they could of just asked “Is it a boy or a girl.” like a normal person instead of invading my personal space and touching me inappropriately trying to test out some fake, stupid old wives tale. I don’t feel comfortable with people touching my belly either it makes me feel extremely uncomfortable I don’t care if I’ve known you a long time or if you’re family I just don’t like being touched. I wish I was more vocal about my feelings because if I was I probably would of went off especially having my butt touched by a complete stranger! Lol I only let my husband or my sister in-law but even they don’t do it very often because they know it makes me uncomfortable so they respect that but other people don’t even ask like my mamaw she’ll just walk up and touch my belly and rub it, it makes me feel so uncomfortable.
With boys I carried lower and in front, I thought it was just the way I carried my pregnancies, but no girls were way higher and wider

I honestly feel personally this is right for me!! I was carried my son SUPER low also with an anterior placenta so everything was weighed down in the front😂 but with this pregnancy my whole tummy seems to be rounding out⚪

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
