I feel so bad for my dad. Was playing video games with him tonight (since we are 3k miles apart that is the only ‘quality time’ we can spend doing stuff together) and he mentioned wishing he had had more kids. :/ My mom only wanted two and made him get snipped after my brother was born. But since my brother passed away, my dad just has me, no friends really and I am so far.. it really gets me upset sometimes that my husband is so selfish about staying up here to be next to his family. Like his mom is still married to his dad and has 3 adult children and 3 grandchildren (4 when my second is born). And my dad only gets to see us for like a month out of the year. 😭 This year he will get us for 5 months but.. I just hate that we aren’t closer and that he won’t really visit us.
