Does anyone live out in Arizona, New Mexico washington California Nevada type areas?

I would avoid California. It’s way too expensive.

I live in Washington. We experience all four seasons. It rains quite often, so definitely comes i handy to have boots and a raincoat during Spring and Fall season. During summer, it doesnt get like up to 100’s but we do reach 80’s here and there. Eastern WA gets hotter. In the winter, we will sometimes have snow in December or come later in the year like we did this February.

Your lifestyle will depend on how expensive it can get living here. We own a home further south. &’ It is much more cheaper than living closer to the city. We are in the process on moving closer to the city, and lets just say our soon to be mortgage is going to be double of what we currently pay. Although the house we are buying is recently built, and is bigger. Location definitely plays a big part of the cost.

We no longer wanted to deal with the hassle of traffic. Our work, family, favorite stores and restaurants, babysitter, drs and preferred hospital is closer to the city. That is why we decided to move back.

We have lived in multiple cities in WA, from condos, apartments, townhomes and homes. Each have their own pros and cons. Just be wary and definitely do your research of the neighborhood you are moving into.

Also the rent most likely is going to be over $1000 just depends on your needs.

Avoid Utah I hear AZ or TX is good

Skip NV and Cali. NV prices are going up due to Tesla and Cali is nuts 90% of the time lol.

I used to live in NV and there was no way we’d ever be able to buy a house no matter how long we tried

New Mexico is absolutely beautiful but depending on area can be expensive. I would certainly look into visiting there.

Texas is super cheap.
