Anyone else have horrible nurses that took care of you during your caesarean? I had a whole team who didn’t believe that I had a curved spine (even though it’s in my records!) and was told by the head epidural doctor my last birth that I couldn’t have a spinal or epidural! They even went as far as to keep asking me to TRY and get a spinal 4 TIMES after I told them no, I physically couldn’t have one!! 😐 I even over heard one talking to the anesthesia doctor about it and heard her say, “she supposedly can’t have an epidural that’s why she’s being put to sleep” I was SO hurt! I couldn’t believe they had treated me like that. 😭 why would I even lie about that?! I’d much rather have an epidural than have to have MORE risk in an already dangerous surgery! #justneededtorant #seriouslyhurtbythis
Thanks y’all! I plan on turning in the one nurse who I overheard! She also had the nerve to bad mouth my doctor before he came in the room! 😩 just glad I don’t have to deal with them anymore!
That's horrible. I'm sorry you had to deal that hun.
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
In about 9 days before I get Induced on July 3. Doctor said instead of epidural they are going to do a spinal block instead....Forgot to ask doctor why? I know what an epidural is cause i had that done with my 1st child ....But spinal block I've never heard of it....Any info you ladies know about it id appreciate it. I don't see doc again till next thurs. Which will be 3 days before im induced then. Also with being induced do you still feel the contractions with a spinal block?
Any mommas on here Nurses ??
I have a question
I had a doctor appointment today and I’m a bit confused with what my doctor told me and what the papers say
To epidural or not??? I heard some really great things and really bad things about getting an epidural. So I figured I'd reach out to all of you and see what your opinions are... I have heard that the worst part is at the end and even with the epidural a lot of times it stops working by the time you have the baby anyway. I have also heard that the recovery time with an epidermal is like three times longer. Women that have had an epidural in the past what do you guys think????
Urghh why oh why do i keep googling epidurals and sections? Im scaring myself even more!!
That's terrible! I'm so sorry hun!! ❤
