Did bouncing and rolling on a yoga ball help any mom's go into labor?
That's all I wanted to know if it would be worth my money but everyone seems to think I wanna induce now or exactly at 36 weeks my doc said if everything is perfect at my 36 week appointment I can start by walking and when I hit 37 I can roll my hips and bounce on the yoga ball it's my third child and I wouldn't bounce at 36 weeks to induce labor I would like to start at 37 because if I don't go into labor on my own before 39 weeks ill never know what it like to have natural birth and I so want to I'm getting my tubes tied I won't be having anymore children they have a csection date set but I'm still allowed a vback
Yessss it really helped me i was 38 weeks and i boumced on that ball for an entire day non stop and the next morning at 2am i starting getting contractions n ended up going to the hospital at 7am dilated 3cm but it helped me!!!!!
Everyone is different and ultrasounds are found to be up to a pound off so say he's only 4 pounds by 36 weeks since he's to gain a half a pound every week he would be 6 pounds I know weight of the baby don't matter on baby development I'm not dumb it's my third child I just wanted advice on a yoga ball to see if it was worth the money I have 20 days from my 36 week appointment for my csection I wanted to try for a vback because this is my last baby ever if I don't go into labor before my csection date I won't ever know what it's like to have a natural birth
The definition of full term is not different for everyone. Point blank. Its one thing to encourage things a few days before a csection. It's another to try to self induce at 35, 35, 37 weeks.
@laniejay I never said it was different for everyone I'm telling you what my doctor told me that if everything was perfect at my 36 week appointment I could start walking and use a yoga ball I would have to order it offline and it would take up to 7 days for it to come meaning I would be all but 37 weeks when it arrives I just wanted to know if spending my money on it was worth it I wouldn't start bouncing on it exactly at 36 weeks I would have 14 days then to try for labor or I would have to have the csection I know it's to early to have the baby
No one is attacking you. We are giving you factual information in regards to your baby's health
I asked a question I didn't asked to be attacked by a bunch of people come March once I see my doctor for my 36 week appointment if everything is okay she will give me the okay to start walking and everything to help no need to come at my neck I'm going by what my doctor told me
Hey just wanna say my son was born naturally at 36 weeks and he was not ready for this world. His lungs were weak, and he was very small. Let you baby bake!
I'm scheduled for an early csection in 47 days
Weight has nothing to do with development and the ultrasounds are notoriously off on weight later in pregnancy. Your baby needs to bake until full term.
He's a big baby he's 5 pounds right now and with me being so tiny it's a concern I just don't want to waste the money on a yoga ball if it won't help
I asked because my doctor told me come March I can try everything to put me into labor ill be almost 36 weeks then
@laniejay my nephew's came before 39 weeks and we're considered full term
@cierralhoffman the ACOG changed the medical terms years ago after they discovered how vital the last few weeks are for brain growth and lung development. A doctor who says otherwise is out of date.
No, it didn’t and I really hope you aren’t trying to go to into labor at 32 weeks. 😳
Rolling your hips helps baby engage. A bit concerning you'd ask this at 32 weeks though....especially when you said yesterday you felt labor was near. I hope you are in contact with your doctor and are not trying to have a 32 weeker
