8 months old and I am still spending all night going back and forth from the couch to her crib trying to get her to stay asleep when I lay her down. It usually doesn't work until about 4-5am. And then she will sleep until my fiance alarm wakes her. I have tried everything everyone suggests but nothing. IDK what magically changes between 4-5am that makes it so she will stay asleep. She will sleep the whole time with me holding her sitting on the couch, but I can't sleep at all then. The past few nights I have just cried most of the time. Im getting headaches because of how crap my sleep is. My fiance tries to have me sleep when he gets home, but my daughter freaks out when I'm gone for like an hour. 😭 She doesn't take a bottle so nursing is the only thing that calms her.
I feel awful and selfish... But I'm just so tired.
I've given up on finding answers, I just wanted to vent some.
Swaddle her I had this same problem with my LO. I just bought a larger blanket and swaddled him and he’ll nurse and fall asleep and the swaddle will make him feel like he’s being held even after he’s been placed in his crib
@cass404.ch, my lo hates it but once they start nursing they forget it’s even on
You're definitely not selfish. Lack of sleep really really messes with you and your own well being is very important as well. I don't have suggestions cuz i haven't hit that age yet but you definitely shouldn't feel badly for desperately wanting to get some sleep
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Do not let your child fall asleep on you , make sure they fall asleep in there own sleeping spot . Instead let them cry for a while and just go back into the room every couple of minutes and talk to them and reassure them everything is ok and slowly up the time of you going in there but do not touch them when doing it. This might take a few weeks but it will be worth it. They are just like us, if someone takes away something we are use to like a blanket or pillow our brain signals something isn't right and causes an alarm for us to awake.
