Update on my 36th week check up-1cm dialated and 50% thinned out! Can anyone tell me what it means…

Your cervix is 1cm open it needs to get to 10cm for the head to come out

Once your around 4cm things start to happen more quickly.

Yea I know that part, but what does it mean if I’m already 50%... if I get to 100% and still be a few cm dilated, would they have to induce?? 🤔🤔

So I txt my mom n law and told her and she said she been 3cm for the last 24 years... 😬 kinda feel like she hating a little 🤣🤣

It doesn’t really mean anything. With different pregnancies, I’ve been fully effaced and 4cm dilated for week, and I’ve also gone into labor at 33 weeks with a long and closed cervix

I’ve been contracting alot lately but they are Braxton Hicks
