Same! We will get the boys some candies and a card but for us, we could care less. Our wedding anniversary is our special holiday that we don’t have to share with the world!
Use to love it until I started dating lol. My dad use to buy me flowers & chocolate than we'd go to dinner and the movies. I was the oldest girl of 13 but my dad only daughter so it was always nice to have a day with just him and I. No other kids. Than I started dating and it was they always said well you don't love me if you don't want to spend Valentine's day with me... than the pressures of sex being an obligation for Valentine's like no thanks.
This! My stepdad used to always do things for us girls for Valentine's. He wanted to show us how we deserved to be treated and thsoe are some of my best memories 💕💕

Lol I can see why people hate it. I like it a little because it gives people a reason to drop the tasks of everyday life and enjoy your loved ones. Kind of how Christmas and Thanksgiving brings families together after being apart for most of the year. Wish life didn't consume so much of our time ☹
