My son is 4 days old, he is extremely hard to wake up or keep awake once latched. We stimulate with tickling diaper change(which doesn’t phase him)cold wrap on his back and even tried unlatching to switch breasts. But he just doesn’t want to eat.
Any advice and similar situations?
When I just had colostrum he fed A LOT and would barely sleep. And not my milk is in at full force and he won’t even eat. When I do finally get him latched he barely feeds for 5-10 mins in each or maybe 15 mins in one. Before literally knocking out.
strip him down to feed so he is cool also burp him frequently. Has he gained his birth weight? My son wasn't gaining well so after a feed I expressed and then fed what I had (maybe 20mil - I'm Aussie so not sure about ounces with a syringe), he wouldn't take a bottle.
My girl was doing that, too. She's 3 weeks now and seems to have grown out of it. Bottom of the feet tickling seemed to work best. I also offered it any time I could if they were awake then I put them to the boob even if they didn't act hungry
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Who else has financial issues within their relationship?? Or am I just lucky 🙄🙄
Not sure if I'm being just mean or what. But my SO used $160 from me this morning. I gave him my bank card because he needed $60 to get material for work. His boss was going to give it back to him at the end of the day. So instead of $60 he took out $160. Which I was a little pissed. (One of the reasons I just can't let him use my card. I have to go get the money from the atm myself if I'm giving it to him) then, to...
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer.
My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
First real case of Discrimination today. 😯
General Contractor kept asking where my SO when I was pulling off the job. Even said ‘How come he doesn’t come here and talk to me like a man’. Wow. I ended up calling the police because felt threatened in how defensive he was talking. Sheesh.
I talked to a friend in the industry and told him everything that happen and he cut me off yelling ‘THATS DISCRIMINATION!’
Do I let it go? Or take him to court?
My son was like that. Wed sit there with a super cold wash cloth and put it on his back every few mins, and he eventually just got used to it and didnt even care. I ended up having to just feed him when he felt like it rather than on a schedule. He was a determined sleeper, and if he wanted to sleep, nothing in the world was gonna stop him lol
