Sorry for the slight tmi, I got a call today to collect Charlie from nursery as he's come out in chicken pox. He hasn't got too many at the moment, but he does have a quite a few in his Willy area. What's the best thing to use to help him with the itching? The last thing o want is for him to itch them off and hurt himself in the process!

I’d recommend calamine lotion! It’s supposed to be really good and it’s actually used to stop them itching and skin irritations! Xx

I think it could be but I’m sure I bought mine off the shelf you can get it from boots, Asda, Tesco’s etc!

Brew a really strong camomile tea and pore it into his bath. Works better than camomile lotion in the bath x

Oatmeal baths :) Calamine lotion :)
Do not use ibuprofen xx

I used virasoothe with Morgan and Max. It's a cooling gel. Found it helped at night when it seemed to be it's worst. Didn't find calamine lotion helped them at all. Hope he's ok!

They say it's good for kids to catch chicken pox early as the older they are the worse it is for them- awareness and itchyness etc. A friend called me 2 days ago and said did I want to go round her nieces with chelseas to pick up the chicken pox 😮. I said no, just can't willingly give her it 😂 Hope little man's better asap! xx
