Any breastfeeding mamas on here? I’ve been waiting to have a drink but I wanna keep feeding her. How can I do it? I’ve heard you can drink directly after bf and wait 2 hours. Thoughts?

Just as pp posted, if you nurse then have a glass you should be fine with the next feed. If you plan on having more than one, I would pump some to give.
You can drink either right after breastfeeding or even start your drink while you nurse since it’ll take some time to get into your system. If you’re going to only have one drink then you can nurse as you normally would. If you’re going to have a bit more then I’d have some milk pumped for the next feed if you need it.

So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.

I can’t find anything nice to drink and I feel like I’m getting dehydrated constantly with lack of drinks that my taste buds actually like!! I’m so over it... if I’m not drinking I’m not eating ? when will this end?? What do you ladies drink?? Need ideas ? I’ve done fruit infusions, cordial, lemon water. I’m scared I’ll get gestational diabetes if I keep drinking cordial ? ideas please Mamma... can’t wait to get out of this stage!
I bought the test strips for peace of mind. You can buy them from Target or Amazon. I felt a lot better about drinking knowing I could test the milk before I gave it to him.
