They said some babies don’t go that often. Some go every day like mine, she goes three times a day. Some go once a week.

@mimixtmn, oh okay, I’m hoping he has one pretty soon but nurse said she isn’t concerned but we are lol. I think my milk might be coming in now, he’s been less fussy today rather then last night and the left over on his lips looks different then when we were at the hospital. He’s also been sleeping today and last night he barely slept so thinking it’s my milk helping him get more full 🤷🏻‍♀️

@penelope127, I did call and they said it could be a number of things making him gassy and she wouldn’t worry because he’s latching strong and he has passed gas and having wet diapers. We have his check up tomorrow. Was just asking if anyone had advice on how to help soothe his gas.

@nellzp, yeah he pooped day 1 7 times and had 2 wet diapers. Since then he hasn’t but he’s passing a lot of gas and had plenty of wet diapers.

My 3 day old was the same yesterday he finally had a huge poop last night and has been much better and pooping with every feeding now. I rubbed his belly and it seemed to help soothe him but he had the bowel movement on his own in his sleep. Has your milk come in yet? Is he passing gas?

I would call the dr with a baby that young.
