Ladies I need help...
I'm meant to go back to work the start of next month (I work as a care assistant on nights in a nursing home)
But with my son's health at the moment I don't want to be messing work around with having to call sick when my son has his declining days.
My question is have any of you ladies extended your maternity leave to 12 months and if so how did you do it? TIA

I took payed 10 months with Amelia, saved all my holiday up for the first month then when that run out I started my maternity so had 10 payed months! Your entitled to take up to 12 month hun, you’ll just have to speak them then soon as pos @kirikatrina,
