What do you guys have packed in your newborns diaper bag besides common sense things like diapers and wipes?
Gotta pack the baby’s bag but I’m drawing a blank on what I really need to have in there.

If you have a long trip, I’d take a couple receiving blankets, diapers, wipes. A extra set of clothes. I mean you never know if she/ spits up or what not. Everything else is just extra. And a paci if you wish or not. Seen the above comments and one of my kids took one first night and the second absolutely refused and never took one. Both EBF and I don’t mind comfort feeding either. It’s a special bonding time that I miss.
Your baby will probably hopefully just sleep all the way home.
I liked having my own swaddle blankets even though they give you one at the hospital.
I’m so hesitant on swaddles. 😖 caleigha hated being swaddled. I should probably bring one just in case this one is different and she likes it lol
😅 I didn’t even pack diapers and wipes. All I have is his going home outfits in NB and 3 months and a receiving blanket.
I’ll put diapers because we have a 1.5hr drive back home from the hospital lol.
I’m trying to decide if I want to bring extra clothes because when I had my first she stayed in nothing but a diaper the whole time because it was so warm.
Sleepers, mittens and a coming home outfit are all must haves. Pacifiers if you're not breastfeeding an extra layer if needed
@jmedina, eh I was fine with my daughter using me as comfort. But to each their own. I may put one paci in there just because we have a 1.5hr trip back home and it would make the trip a lot longer if we have to stop and nurse
@jmedina I never had personal issues. Either they took it or hated it. I've had two SILs who have some issues but both were also pumping/bottle feeding and it may have stemmed from there as well. Really just a personal call
@santistevanmommie I didn't always mind the comfort feeding, loved the bonding. But of course there are times I needed to get things done so him taking the paci was nice. And yes also the driving it was a life saver with my older daughter back there keeping it in his mouth lol. He actually hated it at first but eventually took it and loved it.

What do I NEED to pack in my bag for the hospital? I already have the diaper bag ready, just need mine.
I hate the swaddle, shirt and hat they use so I packed swaddles, outfits, hats and bows. Wipes, diapers, and a nursing cover.
