Pretty sad my husband and I thought it would be best to try to reach out to the bio dad of baby and can’t even get a response through text or phone call and we both have tried contacting him , his mom, his dad and sister but at least we can say that we tried 💙

I wouldn't try. Some people will say it's wrong and mean but my 8 yr old his sperm donor knew I was pregnant and didn't ask anything else about him. My son was born and my husband apotes him when he was 5. In Arkansas the baby will have the mother's last name if no dad is on the birth certificate

Here you can put any last name on the birth certificate

not telling you what to do. But if he don't want anything to do with him i wouldn't give your baby his last name. It might be harder to change later on
