RANT! I hate Xfinity! When we signed up it was supposed to be 99 dollars a month for 2 years. Never once have we seen a bill that low. Last months bill was 300 dollars! My bill is due the 16th yet they shut my internet off today? SO got them to fix it but still it's ridiculous! If I'm going to pay you an arm and a leg u would think it would at least work correctly. I wish there was a different service provider in this area but we live in the boonies so there's no other Option for cable and internet. Super annoying.

We should do that lol. My grandma uses them too and they charge her an insane amount of money. Like how can u do that to a little old lady? And she doesn't know any better either.
Internet makes it wonky. If you go over the terabyte cap you get charged for every like 10gb.

@catfish2220 I had to look it up lol. We only have their internet. I'd rather have Hulu and Netflix than cable 😂
You can call any time through the year and ask about specials.
@catfish2220, yea! Xfinity is one of the only carriers in my area so I’ve had to deal w their junk a few times. But as long as you call, they honestly have been great w me. They’ve even refunded me overage amounts bc I told them I didn’t realize my rates were changing and I just couldn’t afford the difference.
@catfish2220, we used to pay like $70 a month for just internet but I’ve been able to get it down to $44.95
@phoebesmommy I've been thinking about dropping the cable and just keep the internet. That was the original plan but when We signed up the told us it was cheaper to get both and included the home phone for free. The home phone has been costing 9 dollars a month and I don't really mind that but I don't understand what the extra charges are for because they keep changing. I'm sure part of it is equipment rental and I can understand that as well but the fact that it goes way high and then will be lower for a month or two and then goes back up just doesn't make sense to me.
Ugh Comcast is the worst. Call and try to negotiate your rate. Tell them you're cancelling sometimes they'll send you to the retention department where they can give you better rates
@massgirl we payed an extra 40 for installation when we made our deposit. I can understand equipment fees but it goes way up and then will go back down and go up again. If it's a rental fee you would think they charge the same amount every month but our bill is always different.

@massgirl I'm going to have to. My so said they were charging us 120 this month but now we have to pay a fee since they had to turn it back on when we weren't even late. Ugh
@boymomx3 We signed up less than a year ago. It won't be a year untill September. My first bill was 125 dollars and has gone up each month since then. And they don't have any reason for it when we ask. Once they said someone. Bought a movie (we don't buy movies through the TV) they refunded us that but that was the only time they have actually done something about the bill being too high.
It’s because the two years are up, once that happens the rates go up.

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
I am super mad right now..... I talked to my landlord and we agreed to her cashing the rent check on the 31 of this month because my money will be in that day and she cashed early. She never cashed it early before so now I only have $60.00 dollars for groceries this week😡

I hate being an adult sometimes. I always shed a tear when I have to pay our Internet bill ($500 a month)....it's crazy that we need a connection like this and how expensive it is ?????
I don’t think we would have been able to move if I didn’t have my stay at home job, we would still be in a neighborhood with our house getting broken into. I’m so thankful and blessed to have found a legit home job so my kids don’t have to go to day care, counting my blessings daily
