When did everyone stop putting a baby monitor on in their child’s room when they go to bed? My little girl was 3 in December and I still use one all night 🙈 ... She’s moving into her big girl bedroom soon with a cabin bed so I’m thinking to try stop using it. She sleeps well all through the night and just comes into our room when she wakes in the morning, about 8am.

We stopped around her 3rd birthday I think. Hubby didn't want to take it on holiday!
Even though we're on a different floor and at the front while she's at the back of the house, we still hear her if she wakes in the night (probably because we don't fully close the doors, just leave them pushed to)

About 2years with Morgan. Earlier with Max cant remember when exactly though. I'm debating putting one back in the boys room though so I can see when their getting in each other's beds or being silly 😂

My little boys in a toddler bed in his own room and has been from about 5 months. I still use a video monitor, just gives me peace of mind although he never gets up to much he gets out of bed and shouts at the gate

I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!

ot- toddlers afternoon nap When did your toddler's stop having an afternoon nap. My LG is 22months old she has about 1.5-2 hours in the afternoon but just recently when we put her to bed she doesn't settle just chats away and constantly shouts us up...it takes her up to 45 mins to go to sleep she used to go straight to sleep. She still in a cot could that be a reason....does she need a big girl bed now??? Tia xx

Thank you ladies. We can hear if she ever does get up as our rooms are next door, and she is like a baby elephant 🙈 ... I think once she goes into her new bedroom I’ll stop with the monitor. She even asked me to stop using it 😂 xx
