And it’s not even just about their own child. They are putting others at risk also. So selfish and completely ignorant.

Because the possible side effects of vaccines are totally worse than, ya know, a deadly disease.

One thing I don't understand is when someone says they think they cause autism, everyone comes at them saying someone they know has autism but it didn't come from shots. Like, they aren't sayong that's the only reason someone would end up with autism... I also don't understand why it seems so many pro-vax parents have an issue with their kids going to school with non vaxed kids because they could bring it in... if the vaccines are effective, then there shouldm't be an issue with that.

I am not against vaccines at all and my daughter will be vaccinated. It just seems like there is so much hate towards people who are anti vaccinces, simply for the fact they are, versus concern for the kid who isn't getting them.

(Disclosure: I am not saying that is what you are doing, just sharing views)

But vaccines cause autism, and we eat completely organic and use only holistic medicines.

Agreed! I get that’s it’s scary that they can have a side effect but it’s even more scary knowing they have a higher chance of catching a deadly disease without being vaccinated.

I'm just curious why parents have an issue with their kids being around ones who aren't vaccinated, if the vaccine works, why would there be a problem?

@mercstoddard, I’m not speaking for my own child. I’m speaking for those children who cannot be vaccinated because they are too young, or have medical reason why they cannot.

Like, back in 2014 two woman I worked with adopted a little girl who had leukemia. She couldn’t be vaccinated for obvious reasons, but, somehow from just going to the store or doctors’ offices, or one bday party for a cousin she ended up with the measles. The poor thing. It was horrible.

We as adults need to be aware that our choices not only have to do with our immediate family, but also effect the young, sick and elderly.

@dontspankme, my grandma said something VERY true. You can always find “research” that backs up your opinion

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?
