Hmm I’ve never heard that but my mom told me to never go to a funeral while on my period.

Just a superstition. Like the many, many different ones in various cultures.

I heard that too. I was pregnant (4 months) when I had to bury my mother. I had to do the wake and funeral pretty much by myself. My baby was born beautiful and healthy. I was nervous about her spirit getting mixed up with my moms and the higher power taking them both to the spirit world. But nope she was fine.

I went to a funeral, and my baby was fine. It’s all superstition, and people will find any sort of correlation to blame in those circumstances. She told me that they believed a baby’s soul was so pure, that it attracted other spirits to it, and it put the baby in jeopardy. It’s interesting, but nothing more than interesting. You and your baby are fine, I’m sure!

I heard that it’s ok to go to funeral while pregnant 🤰 but not to the grave. I took my daughter when she was just months old and it was a bad experience.
